About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) at Rumford Hospital in Rumford, Maine. This 13-week assignment offers a unique opportunity to work in a 25-bed critical access hospital providing 24-hour emergency care in a scenic location.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients of all ages with various illnesses and injuries.
• Perform rapid assessments and stabilize patients in critical conditions.
• Work as one of only two RNs per shift in the Emergency Department.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (Compact Accepted)
• 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS, PALS, BLS
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) systems (preferred)
• SSN and DOB required
• 1 reference from entire work history

• Skills in rapid assessment and patient stabilization
• Ability to work in a small, critical access hospital setting

Pay

Pay Rate: $2026.00 - $2130.00 per week, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week, with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

36 hours per week, 12-hour night shifts, starting on 09/28/2026.
