About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment. This is a 13-week contract night-shift position (19:00 - 07:30) with 3x12-hour shifts per week, including 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6 weeks. Holidays may be required as needed with no call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Perform urgent and emergency procedures when necessary.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain proper documentation and charting of patient information using EPIC.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Current active RN license.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH (required); CPI, PALS, and TNCC (preferred).
• Experience with EKG interpretation and management of acute conditions.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Contract and local rates may vary based on location and applicant residency.
