Travel ER RN - $1,971 per week

Job Details

• Shift: 12H Nights
• Total Weekly Hours: 36

Required Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required in ED (Emergency Department).
• EPIC charting system experience required.
• Active license must be in hand at submission.
• All RNs, regardless of specialty, must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• Covid-19 and Flu Vaccines are required, with medical/religious exemptions allowed.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

• Previous Charge RN experience.
• Level II Trauma experience.
• CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Previous Charge Experience preferred.
• Patient Ratio Experience: 4-5.

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NIHS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Skills Required

• Arterial line management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood Product Administration
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• Central line care/management
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) management
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV vasopressors
• Management of dysrhythmias
• Starting and maintaining IVs

Additional Unit and Facility Information

• Stroke, Cardiac, and Level 2 Trauma Center.
• EMR Experience: EPIC experience required.

Floating and Compliance Information

• Travelers may be floated to any Cone Health campus as needed.
• Modules completed during orientation, average 2-4 hours, non-billable.

Education and Background Check

• Third-party education verification required.
• Degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted.
• No open cases permitted in background check.

Local Policy

• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius.
• Current driver's license required to verify address.
