About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, managing a range of emergency conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients in the emergency department.
- Administer medications and perform diagnostic tests as required.
- Provide care to patients with a variety of injuries and emergency conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to all quality assurance measures.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department required.
- Current RN license in good standing.
- ACLS, BLS, NIH certifications required.
- CPI, PALS, TNCC certifications preferred.
- Experience with the EPIC charting system is required.
- Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree and be licensed to practice as an RN in the state of North Carolina. Previous experience in the Emergency Department is highly desirable.

Pay & Schedule
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Shifts are 12 hours, nights, and the schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. The candidate must be able to work two weekend shifts or four weekend days every six weeks, with holiday coverage as needed.
