• Shift: 12 HR Nights

Required Certifications

• State license
• ACLS
• BLS by AHA
• PALS
• TNCC
• NHIC
• ENPC (PREFERRED)

Required Experience

• Level I trauma experience REQUIRED
• 2-year minimum experience REQUIRED
• Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias
• EPIC charting experience

Preferred Experience

• Unit accepts 1st time travelers
• Continuous IV sedation and Procedural Sedation Administration experience
• Triage experience

Skills

• Arterial line management
• BiPAP/CPAP management
• Blood Product Administration
• Care of Ventilated Patient
• Central line care/management
• Continuous IV sedation
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident)
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Isolation Precautions/PPE
• IV vasopressors
• Phlebotomy
• Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Triage

Charting System Experience

• Required: EPIC

Specific Requirements

• Sparrow Hospital ER requires EPIC and trauma L1 experience, ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, NIH, and TNCC. This is a strict requirement.
• Certifications may NOT pend beyond contract start.

Education Policy

• All allied candidates must be able/willing to provide proof of HS level education (regardless of secondary education).
