Travel ER RN - $1,971 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment starts on August 31, 2026, with a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM). The position requires 36 hours per week, including 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days every 6 weeks. Self-scheduling is available with a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level II Trauma Center (preferred experience)
• Manage patient ratios of 4-5
• Perform arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP management, and blood product administration
• Care for ventilated patients and manage central lines
• Administer and monitor continuous IV sedation and procedural sedation
• Interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias
• Manage IV vasopressors and administer medications
• Start and maintain IVs, and perform triage
• Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Handle cerebrovascular accident (CVA) cases

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an Emergency Department (ED)
• First-time travelers are acceptable; previous charge experience preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Active RN license in hand at submission (no local candidates within a 50-mile radius)
• Valid driver’s license required

Certifications

• Required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Preferred: CPI, PALS, TNCC, TNCCT

• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Background check with no open cases permitted
• Third-party education verification required; degrees from the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
