About the Role

AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Puyallup, Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency room nursing care in a Level III Trauma Center
• Care for patient types from pediatrics to geriatrics including trauma, GSW, sepsis, COVID, STEMI (large amount), stroke, DKA, mental health, respiratory issues, geriatric, adult psych, stroke (TNK), and high acuity medical
• Manage high geriatric population (falls, STEMI)
• Handle a small amount of pediatrics (generally transfer to Mary Bridge)
• Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV skills, and basic ED knowledge of drips and medication administration
• Administer procedural sedation, blood administration, and TNK administration (preferred)
• Maintain patient ratios: Day - 1:4-5 (ability to flex to 5 based on acuity and staffing)

Requirements

• 2 years of ED experience
• Registered Nurse, ER license
• SSN Required
• DOB Required
• 1 Reference in the last 12 months
• Skills checklist within 12 months
• RTO upfront available to work dates posted
• Copies of certs or proof of class registration

Required Certifications

• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• CPI/MOAB

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous travel experience
• TNK administration experience

Schedule

• Duration: 14 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• 12 hour night shifts
• Start Date: 10/05/2026

Pay

• Pay Rate: $1921.00 - $2020.00
