Travel ER RN - $1,935 per week

About the role

We're looking for Emergency Room RNs for an immediate travel nurse opening in Richmond, MO. The right RN should have 1-2 years recent acute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team of caregivers to evaluate, triage, and implement care using correct procedures and physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations.
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries and plan long‑term care needs.
• Document medical history, check for allergies, obtain patient vital signs, and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty.
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; moving or lifting patients may require up to 50 pounds.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• 1‑2 years of recent acute care experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH, and PALS certifications (additional certifications may be required before assignment).

Skills

• Strong coping skills for stress.
• Ability to relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
• Physical stamina for prolonged standing, walking, bending, lifting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
