About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse with at least 18 months of recent experience in emergency nursing for a 13-week contract position in Canton, Ohio. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, including the ability to perform assessments, establish care plans, and execute patient interventions. Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform assessments, identify patient needs, and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Epic electronic health records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department experience.
• 18 months combined permanent experience in nursing required, preferably in one location.
• Permanent Ohio nursing license or compact license in hand required at the time of submission.
• Active certifications in ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC required.
• One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required.
• Demonstrated expertise in using electronic health record systems, particularly Epic.
