Travel ER RN - $1,729 per week
About the role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Hickory, North Carolina. Start date: 10/19/2026; 13‑week contract; 36 hours per week; night shift (12‑hour shifts).
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency department.
- Administer medications and perform procedures as necessary.
- Monitor patient status and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records utilizing the Meditech charting system.
- Manage critical situations and coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; 3 years preferred. Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be via AHA). Certification in CPI/CIC is preferred but can be obtained for travelers staying longer than 3 months. Experience with Meditech charting is preferred, but not required. Must have a valid state nursing license, which must be at least pending with ETA clearly stated.

Schedule
Night shift, 3×12‑hour shifts (19:00–07:00) with a minimum of every other weekend and holidays. Option to flex to a 4×12 schedule if needed or available.
