About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Travel Nurse responsible for providing urgent care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Rapidly triage and assess patients across various acuity levels
- Reprioritize care as conditions change
- Administer emergency medications and IV therapy
- Respond to codes and trauma activations
- Support stabilization and testing efforts with the emergency team
- Manage full spectrum of emergency cases including cardiac emergencies, stroke, trauma, and sepsis, delivering timely interventions and supporting patient stabilization and disposition
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years recent ER nursing experience
- Active Texas RN license
- Proficiency in Meditech EMR system
Skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations
- Strong assessment and rapid intervention skills
