About the Role
As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will provide rapid, high-quality care in a fast-paced emergency department.
Responsibilities
- Assess and triage patients
- Explain procedures to patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments
- Prepare and maintain emergency equipment
- Monitor patient safety and document assessments
- Respond effectively to life-threatening situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to safety and regulatory standards to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
Requirements
- One year of recent ER RN experience
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and maintain attention to detail
