Travel ER Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves providing rapid-response, high-quality emergency care by assessing patient conditions, administering treatments, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and effective outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of patients based on severity
• Administering medications and life-saving treatments following protocols
• Preparing equipment and assisting physicians during emergency procedures
• Monitoring patient safety, documenting care, and responding to urgent needs
• Providing patient education and collaborating with healthcare teams
• Adhering to safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications And Skills

• Minimum one year of recent ER RN experience
• Valid RN license and current BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications
• Strong clinical, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to move equipment and assist patients
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a team environment
