About the role
Assist with electrophysiology studies, cardiac ablations, and device implantations within the EP lab. Prepare patients, operate and troubleshoot lab equipment, monitor patient responses, and support cardiac mapping and interventions. Perform assessments, educate patients and families, administer medications, and provide post-procedure care. Ensure a sterile environment, collaborate with the care team, and adhere to safety and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of recent EP Lab Tech experience
- BLS, ACLS, and ARRT, RCES, or RCIS certifications required
- Preferred licenses: radiologic technologist, PALS, or ENPC
- Demonstrated critical thinking and excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to handle equipment
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and maintain attention to detail
