Travel EP Tech - $2,922 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality EP Tech for a contract with one of our top healthcare clients in Dallas, Texas. Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with patient care in the electrophysiology lab through technical assistance to the cardiac catheterization and EP team.
• Use imaging equipment to help the doctor detect and treat heart and blood vessel issues.
• Execute any noninvasive course of action.
• Review the patient’s history and verify the medical order.
• Evaluate images by checking quality and ensuring the area in question is included.
• Distinguish between normal and abnormal images.
• Communicate imaging results to the physician.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the Electrophysiology Labs.
• Assure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain an environment of excellence that is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate, quality care.
• Prepare and update patient records accurately and legibly.

Requirements

• Current license in good standing.
• Appropriate specialty certifications/credentials.
• Eighteen months of EP Lab experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.

Pay

Weekly payment estimates include a gross estimate of hourly wages and reimbursements for meal, incidental, and housing expenses. Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined; your recruiter will confirm eligibility and provide additional details.
