Travel Endoscopy Tech GI Lab Tech Job

Responsibilities
- Assist nursing staff and physicians during GI endoscopy procedures, including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations.
- Disinfect and process endoscopic equipment; set up procedure rooms; troubleshoot equipment as needed.
- Transport patients to and from the procedure suite and stock rooms with supplies and equipment.
- Aid patients with EKG monitoring, BP cuff, and pulse oximetry prior to case start; support patient comfort and safety.
- Aid patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; help ensure smooth procedural flow.
- Maintain room readiness and assist with room turnover between cases; support high-level, complex endoscopy cases as directed.
Requirements
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Licensure/Registration: Colorado DORA Surgical Tech (CST) registration required; must have card in hand prior to submission.
- Certifications: BLS for Healthcare Providers through the American Heart Association.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI lab experience; advanced case endoscopy experience preferred.
- Certifications/Preferences: Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification preferred; SGNA Associates/Advanced Associates preferred.
- General: Ability to work in a hospital GI lab setting with rotating on-call shifts.
