Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies;
  • Aid the GI/endoscopy team during procedures;
  • Set up sterile fields and assist with instrument handling, counting, and transport of scopes and accessories;
  • Support the surgical team during GI/endoscopy procedures; monitor patient status and respond to needs during the case;
  • Maintain instrument inventory, cleaning, sterilization, and documentation in accordance with policy;
  • Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure patient safety and smooth procedure flow;
  • Participate in shared on-call rotation as assigned.

Requirements

  • Active CST license or Endoscopy Tech certification
  • Strong GI/endoscopy skills and relevant procedural support experience
  • Ability to work 4 x 10-hour shifts with a shared on-call rotation; schedule may be variable
  • Experience in a GI/endoscopy environment
  • Ability to work in a long-term care / nursing home setting
  • Authorized to work in the United States; willing to travel to the assignment location
