Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and supplies;
- Aid the GI/endoscopy team during procedures;
- Set up sterile fields and assist with instrument handling, counting, and transport of scopes and accessories;
- Support the surgical team during GI/endoscopy procedures; monitor patient status and respond to needs during the case;
- Maintain instrument inventory, cleaning, sterilization, and documentation in accordance with policy;
- Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure patient safety and smooth procedure flow;
- Participate in shared on-call rotation as assigned.
Requirements
- Active CST license or Endoscopy Tech certification
- Strong GI/endoscopy skills and relevant procedural support experience
- Ability to work 4 x 10-hour shifts with a shared on-call rotation; schedule may be variable
- Experience in a GI/endoscopy environment
- Ability to work in a long-term care / nursing home setting
- Authorized to work in the United States; willing to travel to the assignment location
