Endoscopy / GI Technician – Travel Contract

Job Summary

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking an experienced Endoscopy/GI Technician to support physicians and nursing staff during gastrointestinal and endoscopic procedures. The technician will prepare procedure rooms, assist during procedures, process and maintain endoscopic equipment, perform high-level disinfection (HLD) processes, and help ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy/GI Technician experience
• Previous travel experience required
• Experience assisting with GI and endoscopic procedures
• Knowledge of endoscope reprocessing and infection prevention standards
• High-Level Disinfection (HLD) Certification highly desired

Required Credentials

• High School Diploma or GED
• Current BLS Certification
• HLD (High-Level Disinfection) Certification highly desired
• Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) certification preferred
• Previous travel assignment experience required
