Endoscopy Lab Nurse - Day Shift. The organization is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Lab Nurse to join the clinical team. This position involves providing advanced endoscopic nursing care, supporting patient assessment, and participating in procedures within the endoscopy unit. The role requires working independently with a focus on patient safety and quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex nursing care based on nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocol, monitor for side effects and effectiveness
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately
• Address the psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with their level of practice
• Educate patients, family members, and caregivers regarding procedures and care plans
• Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other care providers to ensure high-quality clinical management

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred)
• 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty (minimum)
• RN License in the state of employment or compact
• BLS via AHA required
• ACLS via AHA required
• Float to other departments within Surgical Services required

Preferred:

• Experience in endoscopy or gastrointestinal nursing preferred

Schedule

Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, minimum of 40 hours per week. Work Type: Full-time, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Start Date: 10/05/2026. End Date: 01/02/2027.
