Endoscopy Lab Registered Nurse for a healthcare organization in a clinical setting. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, support patient education, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate experience with the technical aspects of gastrointestinal (GI) equipment
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team
• Read and interpret safety and operating instructions
• Perform problem‑solving using technical procedures and data analysis
• Occasionally float to other departments or units within scope of competency
• Be on‑call during scheduled shifts as required

Requirements

• ASN or Nursing Diploma
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
• BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of start
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution (preferred)
