About the Role

Travel ER RN assignment in Farmington, NM at San Juan Regional Medical Center, a 198-bed acute care community hospital and level III trauma center. The emergency department features a 43-bed unit with patient ratios of 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track, utilizing Cerner electronic medical records (EMR). Farmington is nestled in the scenic San Juan River Valley in northwest New Mexico, surrounded by three rivers, four golf courses, five lakes, and six national parks. The area offers abundant opportunities for hiking, kayaking, off-roading, and historical sightseeing. Durango, Colorado is just a 1-hour drive away, and Albuquerque, New Mexico is about 3 hours by car.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level III trauma center emergency department
• Manage patient ratios of 4:1 in the main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) system
• Work 12-hour night shifts, 48 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure (Compact accepted)
• 2+ years of recent emergency department experience
• 2+ years of Trauma Center ER experience
• Certifications: TNCC, ACLS-AHA, PALS-AHA, BLS-AHA
• Must reside 100+ miles from the facility
• SSN and DOB required for submission
• 2 references from entire work history

Pay

• Pay Rate: $3063.00 - $3220.00 per week
• Based on 12 hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined

• 36 or 48 hours/week, RN's choice
