About the role
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position in Rutland, Vermont. This role involves working night shifts in a fast-paced emergency care environment. The RN will provide critical nursing services in the emergency department, ensuring optimal patient outcomes while adhering to facility protocols and standards.
Schedule
- Night shift, 12-hour evening/night shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
- Minimum of 48 hours per week
- Float rotation may be required
Responsibilities
- Provide critical nursing care in the emergency department
- Adhere to facility protocols and standards to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
- Nationally recognized de-escalation certification
- Minimum of 0 years of experience
- Must be located in Vermont, United States
- Reliable transportation (public transit options are limited)
- All employment gaps over 30 days must be explained or accounted for
- Local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior ER experience
Additional Information
- Dysrhythmia testing will be obtained as part of compliance
- Orientation occurs biweekly
- Schedule requests are subject to manager approval
- Profile packets with errors or incomplete information will be returned for corrections

Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 48 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
