About the role
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse providing urgent care to patients across all ages in a high-acuity environment. The position requires skilled clinical judgment and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide urgent care to a diverse patient population
- Collaborate with nursing aids, EMTs, and paramedics
- Perform phlebotomy as needed
- Complete charting in the EPIC system
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an ER nurse
- Active RN licensure
- Driver’s license required at submittal for compliance with radius restrictions
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
Schedule
- Rotating 12-hour shifts: 7a-7p, 9a-9p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a
- Minimum of 48 hours per week
- Self-scheduling available for weekend work with every third weekend off
- Prior RTO approval required for 7 or fewer days; additional RTO will not be approved
- Hospital may cancel up to four shifts per 13-week assignment
- No floating shifts required
