This role involves providing direct patient care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced ER environment. The position requires flexibility to float among multiple campuses, ensuring safe and effective care delivery in accordance with best practices and clinical standards. Job Details Certifications: CA RN Licensure, BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Education Requirements: Valid California RN License Experience Required: At least 3 years of ER nursing experience Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and ongoing reassessment of patient care; serving as a patient advocate; and coordinating care across multiple campuses This is a true float position, requiring the ability to work across different campuses including the ERs, with occasional scheduled changes. Travelers will be notified 2 hours prior to shift start regarding reporting locations. Additional information: The role involves working with adult, pediatric, neonatal, and Geriatric patient populations, covering a wide range of medical conditions and emergencies, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, and general emergency cases. Candidates must have recent ER experience, with skills in airway management, IV therapy, trauma procedures, and emergency medications.
