This role involves providing safe, competent, and high-quality patient care to a diverse population in a fast-paced environment. The position emphasizes relationship-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to evidence-based practice standards to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes. Job Details: Schedule: Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 11.5 hours per shift, with a minimum of 34.5 hours per week. Required Qualifications: NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (Basic Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NIH Stroke Certification, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred; associate degree considered with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program. Minimum of 0 years of experience required. Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience highly preferred; at least 2 years of RN experience and 1 year of travel experience for travel positions. Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive emergency care, including assessment, intervention, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Patient Experience: Establish therapeutic relationships, facilitate patient throughput, and support service recovery for patients and families. Quality and Safety: Maintain clinical excellence, implement process improvements, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in quality initiatives. Operations: Perform charge nurse duties, coordinate supplies and resources, document thoroughly, and support efficient patient throughput. Professional Development: Engage in continuous learning, ethical decision-making, and shared governance activities to enhance clinical competence and improve care quality.
