About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a 13-week assignment starting on August 10, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients in the emergency department
- Perform initial assessments and develop treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments as necessary
- Communicate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Document patient encounters and treatments accurately
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Connecticut
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in emergency department setting preferred
Qualifications
- Passing score on the NCLEX-RN exam
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
