Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Stayton, Oregon. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment Type: Travel. The organization's Emergency Room is seeking a dedicated RN to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. The role involves handling a diverse range of cases, including trauma, medical, surgical, OB, and life‑threatening emergencies, in a busy trauma level 4 emergency setting.

Responsibilities

• Managing trauma patients
• Performing EKGs
• Troubleshooting RT equipment
• Administering common drips such as Heparin and pressors
• Working alongside physicians, mid-level providers, and ancillary staff
• Float rotation may be required
• Orientation involves two RN shifts
• The ER handles approximately 60 patients in a 24‑hour period

Requirements

• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, PALS or ENPC (interchangeable), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – NRP can be obtained within 30 days of start
• Education and experience: Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required; previous travel experience preferred
• Location requirements: Candidate must be licensed to submit for the role
