Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,170 per week

Emergency Room Nurse in Asheville, North Carolina. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care in a busy, multidisciplinary emergency department. The nurse will be integral to patient triage, stabilization, and treatment, working in a fast-paced environment dedicated to delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care in a busy emergency department
• Perform patient triage, stabilization, and treatment
• Demonstrate respectful behavior and commitment to patient experience through AIDET and other patient-centered communication
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Coach and provide real-time feedback to colleagues
• Adapt to work across all areas of the ED

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) within 90 days of hire
• At least 2 years of experience in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center emergency department
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an ER setting
• Prior HCA experience preferred
• Excellent teamwork and adaptability
• Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026
• 36 hours per week
• 12-hour day shifts
• Every other weekend
