Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,165 per week

Job Summary

Emergency Room (ER) Nursing position located in Wausau, Wisconsin. This role involves providing direct patient care in a trauma level II emergency department. The position requires adaptability to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule, including day and evening shifts, with exposure to a fast-paced environment serving a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a trauma level II emergency department
• Draw labs and administer nebulizers
• Manage medications
• Work in an 18-bed environment equipped for stroke, cardiac, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics, and respiratory cases
• Adapt to a rotating 12-hour shift schedule including day and evening rotations between 0500-1700, 0900-2100, 1000-2200, and 1100-2300
• Participate in on-call duties during low census periods as needed
• Demonstrate resilience, ability to manage change, and work independently in a high-pressure setting

Required Qualifications

• Wisconsin Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, including trauma Level II experience
• Prior charting experience utilizing EPIC
• Minimum one year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
