This role involves providing critical care to adult patients in a regional health center with 217 licensed beds. The RN will be responsible for delivering high-quality emergency care within a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and adherence to established protocols. Job Details: Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Required Qualifications: Active BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS, and TNCC certifications; 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility; valid Iowa state licensure; must have Iowa SING background check clearance, including Criminal and Child Abuse portions; mandatory reporter certification (Child and Adult); drug test including 10-panel screening with opiates; titers from the last 12 months (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB). Preferred Qualifications: Experience in travel nursing or similar size ER units. Unit Information: 17 beds with patient ratios of approximately 1:6 (around 40 visits per day). Schedule: Shifts are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with flexible start days on Monday or Tuesday. Additional Information: The role requires coverage for daily volume and 24/7 call coverage to support emergency department operations.
