This role involves providing urgent and specialized care to diverse patient populations in a high-acuity emergency department setting. The position requires a skilled nurse capable of managing trauma, cardiac, respiratory, surgical, pediatric, stroke, and general medical emergencies. Job Details Required Qualifications: BLS (AHA Only), ACLS (AHA Only), TNCC, NIHSS, DE or Compact RN license, and at least 2 years of ER experience. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, nights, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities: Care of emergency patients across all ages, including trauma resuscitation, cardiac monitoring, blood draws, medication administration, and patient teaching. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS. Shift or Schedule Requirements: 3-12 hour shifts based on department needs, weekends required, every other or every third weekend, no call required. Additional Information: First day orientation with educator, use of EPIC charting system, standard nurse to patient ratio of 4:1, and a 23-bed ED with various patient care areas.
