Emergency Room Nurse in Richmond, Virginia. This role involves providing critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The ideal candidate will have hospital setting experience and possess current licensure and certifications to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in a fast-paced emergency department environment
• Work evening shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Available on weekends; no on-call duties required
• Collaborate with approximately 120 team members including registered nurses, clinical nurses, emergency department technicians, and medics
• Work in a unit with 50 cardiac monitored beds and an 8-bed Rapid Treatment Area
• Demonstrate positive, teamwork-oriented, and flexible personality

Required Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a hospital setting
• Active Virginia nursing license
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• Previous experience in a healthcare facility with typical functions of an emergency department
