About the role

Emergency Room (ER) nurse position available in a healthcare facility within the emergency care specialty. This assignment requires providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment. The role focuses on delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate services, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.

Location: Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Start date: 09/27/2026 (assignment approximately eight weeks, starting 09/20/2026 and ending 11/14/2026). Duration: 8 weeks.

Requirements

• Valid nursing license
• Nursys license verification
• Professional profile
• Two professional references
• Completion of Ascension skills checklist
• Two years of recent emergency department or critical care experience in a larger emergency department setting
• Previous travel experience
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume emergency setting
• Previous travel experience
• EPIC EMR experience

Skills

• EPIC electronic medical records proficiency
• Ability to work in fast-paced ED
• Float rotation capability within skill set or to sites within approximately 40 miles
