Travel Emergency Dept RN - $1,890 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse who possesses strong clinical skills and excels in a fast-paced environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients in the emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Administer emergency medical care to patients in a timely manner.
• Perform advanced medical procedures such as cardioversion, central line placements, and IV insertions.
• Participate in protocols for Code Stroke and Code Sepsis.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records through the EMR Meditech system.

Requirements

• Current RN license with experience in emergency nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certifications.
• Strong IV skills with a focus on adult and pediatric populations.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Trauma experience and familiarity with Meditech software are preferred.
