Travel EEG Technician - $1,845 per week
Job Description & Requirements
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel EEG Technician for a 13-week assignment in Rockford, Illinois starting July 27, 2026. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and comprehensive benefits.
- One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- REEGT Certification (ABRET) preferred
Essential Work Functions
Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures to obtain information for physician diagnosis of neurological and nervous system disorders. Gather and document patient medical history to include neurologic symptomatology and medications to guide the diagnostic process. Educate patients and family members on test procedures to ensure understanding. Monitor and adjust EEG equipment to ensure optimal recordings. Assess and document EEG recordings. Complete all documentation and report preparation in an accurate and timely manner per established guidelines ensuring reports meet established guidelines for accuracy and completeness. Maintain work environment, supplies, and equipment per established guidelines. Maintain current knowledge of trends, regulations, equipment, policies and procedures pertaining to functional area. Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of practice.

- Mental requirements including coping with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel. Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
