Travel EEG Technician - $1,459 per week

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel EEG Technician for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.
- One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- REEGT Certification (ABRET) preferred
About the Role
An EEG technician is a neurodiagnostic technologist who specializes in running electroencephalogram (EEG) tests, aiding in the diagnosis of neurological and nervous system disorders.
Essential Work Functions
- Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures
- Gather and document patient medical history
- Educate patients and family members on test procedures
- Monitor and adjust EEG equipment
- Absorb and document EEG recordings
- Complete documentation and report preparation
- Maintain work environment, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain current knowledge of trends, regulations, equipment, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- REEGT Certification (ABRET) preferred

- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
