Job Description & Requirements

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel EEG Technician for a 13-week assignment in Tucson, Arizona. The position offers 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and starts immediately.

  • One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • REEGT Certification (ABRET) preferred

About the Role

An EEG technician is a neurodiagnostic technologist who specializes in running electroencephalogram (EEG) tests, aiding in the diagnosis of neurological and nervous system disorders.

Essential Work Functions

  • Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures
  • Gather and document patient medical history
  • Educate patients and family members on test procedures
  • Monitor and adjust EEG equipment
  • Absorb and document EEG recordings
  • Complete documentation and report preparation
  • Maintain work environment, supplies, and equipment
  • Maintain current knowledge of trends, regulations, equipment, policies, and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required
  • Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
  • REEGT Certification (ABRET) preferred

  • Must be able to contend with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
  • Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
