Travel EEG Technician - $1,643 per week
Job Description & Requirements
Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a travel EEG Technician for a 13-week assignment in Hastings, Nebraska starting September 28, 2026. The position requires 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and operates on a day shift.
- One year's recent experience as an EEG Technician required
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- REEGT Certification (ABRET) preferred
Summary
An EEG technician is a neurodiagnostic technologist who specializes in running electroencephalogram (EEG) tests to assist in diagnosing neurological disorders.
Essential Work Functions
- Perform routine and advanced EEG procedures
- Gather and document patient medical history
- Educate patients and family members on test procedures
- Monitor and adjust EEG equipment
- Absorb and document EEG recordings
- Complete documentation and report preparation
- Maintain work environment, supplies, and equipment
- Maintain current knowledge of trends, regulations, equipment, policies, and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Read/write/copy instructions, follow verbal instructions, and proficiency in PC skills
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
- Must be able to work effectively with a variety of personnel (professional and ancillary)
- Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel
- Must be able to cope with irregular activity schedules occasionally and continuous concentration to detail
- Must possess visual acuity and ability to effectively communicate
