Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: ED - Emergency DepartmentDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Provides professional nursing care to an assigned group of patients using the nursing process and current best practices. - Performs patient assessments upon admission and develops individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and providers. - Implements and modifies care plans and nursing interventions as needed, based on ongoing patient evaluation. - Maintains accurate and up-to-date documentation of all nursing care and patient information. - Ensures patient and staff safety through adherence to safety protocols and by identifying and addressing safety hazards. - Communicates effectively and collaborates with colleagues, patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote a positive and healing environment. - Provides constructive feedback and supports the professional development of peers. - Demonstrates initiative in identifying and meeting personal learning needs and fulfills all departmental competency requirements. - Applies specialized procedures and theories relevant to emergency department (ED) nursing. - Maintains all required licensure and certifications, including an active Illinois RN license, BLS, ACLS, and PALS. - Requires a minimum of three (3) years of relevant nursing experience.Med Ninjas Job ID #18310.
