Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Urbana, Illinois.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: ED - Emergency DepartmentDiscipline: RNStart Date: ASAPDuration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, nightsEmployment Type: TravelJob Summary (List Format): - Provides professional nursing care to a designated group of patients using the nursing process and current nursing practices. - Performs all unit-specific duties and responsibilities within the defined scope of service. - Implements nursing procedures and theories relevant to the practice area. - Maintains accurate and current documentation of patient care for healthcare team integration. - Conducts initial patient assessments and develops individualized care plans according to unit standards and patient/family needs. - Executes nursing interventions and patient care procedures as outlined in the care plan. - Continuously evaluates and modifies the care plan based on patient progress. - Ensures patient and staff safety by identifying, reporting, and addressing safety hazards or incidents. - Communicates effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to resolve issues. - Provides constructive feedback to peers and collaborates for professional development and knowledge sharing. - Identifies personal learning needs and proactively seeks opportunities for growth. - Meets all departmental competency requirements. Requirements: - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. - Minimum of 3 years of recent nursing experience.Med Ninjas Job ID #18143.
