Travel Echocardiography Sonographer - $2,440 per week

Join a busy inpatient echocardiography lab at a tertiary care hospital with a Level I trauma center covering essential weekend and midweek shifts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 7-8 echocardiograms daily, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms.
• Ensure adherence to lab standards and protocols, maintaining consistency and diagnostic accuracy.
• Optimize image quality through meticulous scanning techniques and appropriate equipment settings.
• Manage high-volume workflows while ensuring superior diagnostic quality.
• Provide exceptional patient care and communication to ensure comfort and understanding throughout procedures.
• Participate in case reviews and educational opportunities collaboratively with sonographers and cardiologists.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of echocardiography experience.
• At least 2 years of acute inpatient echo experience in a Trauma Level 1 facility.
• Proficiency in a wide range of high-quality echocardiographic procedures that meet accreditation standards.
• In-depth knowledge of complex cardiac anatomy and pathology for precise imaging and assessments.
• Commitment to adhering to ASE and IAC standards to comply with industry best practices.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

40 hours per week, rotating shifts with essential weekend and midweek shifts, including overnight call 5:30 PM to 6:30 AM for 2-3 nights per month.
