Travel Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - $2,473 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Boston, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ultrasound studies including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular cases in an acute care hospital setting.
• Work Monday–Friday day shift, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
• May have NICU and OR ultrasound experience.
• Use GE Logiq E10, GE Logiq E9, and GE Voluson systems for equipment.
• Chart using Epic.

Requirements

• Active MA license required; BLS certification required; flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions.
• Two professional references required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Experience with general ultrasound cases including abdomen, OB/GYN, small parts, abdominal vasculature, lower extremity DVT, and follicular studies.
• NICU and OR ultrasound experience is a plus.

Skills

• Knowledge of GE Logiq E10, GE Logiq E9, and GE Voluson systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
