About the role
Travel Ultrasound Technologist position available in Rockford, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under the supervision of a physician.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during examinations.
- Accurately document patient information and findings in medical records.
- Adhere to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with 2+ years of recent experience in Ultrasound Technology.
- Must have 2+ years of recent Laboratory experience.
- Current certification in Ultrasound Technology.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state licensure as an Ultrasound Technologist.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Proficient in ultrasound equipment operation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
