Travel CVOR Technologist - $1,945 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CVOR Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia, starting 11/16/2026. The position is in a specialized cardiac surgical setting, assisting with a variety of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate must demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing cardiac cases, handling procedures in the mediastinum, and performing thoracic surgery cases, including daVinci assisted surgeries and open thoracotomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgeries involving CABG, valve replacements, and thoracic procedures
• Prepare and maintain a sterile environment during surgical procedures
• Coordinate with surgical teams to ensure smooth operation flow
• Monitor patients during surgical interventions
• Participate in ECMO procedures as needed
• Take evening and weekend call as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting
• Current NH license or compact license required at submission
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Advanced skills in scrubbing cardiac and thoracic surgeries

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (8-hour days), 40 hours per week. 13-week contract beginning 11/16/2026.
