Travel CVOR Open Heart Registered Nurse - $3,195 per week

Job Summary

The position involves assessing the needs of surgical patients prior to and during procedures, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process. The role provides leadership within the operating room team and requires effective communication with patients, their families, physicians, and other healthcare team members.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start date: 07/27/2026.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience, open heart surgery experience, prior travel work experience, willingness to float to general operating room, current and pertinent skills checklist for CVOR.
• Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years.
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active Michigan nursing license as documented in LARA and/or Nursys.

Additional Information

• Candidates must be comfortable with on-call duties at a rate of $9.00 for the CVOR.
• Certified in BLS by AHA, with a state license valid in Michigan.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
