Travel CVOR Open Heart Registered Nurse - $3,500 per week

Job Summary

The role involves providing specialized surgical care for open heart procedures within a large, academic, teaching hospital setting. The role requires flexibility and clinical proficiency in cardiovascular surgery.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS certification;
• CNOR certification preferred;
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room registered nurse experience with recent and high competency in cardiovascular or open heart surgery;
• Epic electronic medical record experience within the past 2 years;
• Proven ability to scrub hearts;
• Prior travel experience;
• Experience in large (500+ beds), academic, and teaching hospital environments required;
• Must be flexible to float to other operating room suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.), circulating but not scrubbing if floated.

Additional Information

• Must explain employment gaps over 90 days;
• Complete work history (bed count, EMR, facility type) required to submit;
• No block scheduling;
• Bi-weekly orientation sessions (next starting 07/13).
