Travel CVICU RN - $1,895 per week

About the role

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVICU for a 13-week assignment in Winston Salem, North Carolina, starting September 14, 2026. This position offers 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Management of dysrhythmias
• ECMO management
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP) management
• Post cardiac surgery care (directly from the OR)
• Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) support
• Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD/RVAD) care
• Arterial line management
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Continuous IV sedation administration
• Titration of cardiac drips
• Care of ventilated patients
• Interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Isolation precautions and PPE management

Preferred Skills

• Port access and management
• Titration of vasoactive drips
• Assistance with chest tube insertion/removal
• BiPAP/CPAP management and maintenance
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) management
• Ventilator management

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or open heart experience
• Active ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
