Travel CVICU RN - $1,891 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a CVICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel contract at a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized inpatient and outpatient cardiac care focusing on advanced heart failure patients.
• Service and troubleshoot VAD, IABP, and Impella devices in both hospital and clinic settings.
• Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) on device management.
• Perform rounds on patients, managing device functioning and patient care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License in hand.
• BLS certification.
• Durable MCS devices experience (HM 3, Heartware, BrioVAD), IABP, Impella Devices.
• Minimum of two years of work experience as a registered nurse.
• Minimum of 1-year clinical work experience in managing advanced heart failure patients (preferred).
• 1-year CTICU and VAD Coordinator experience is a plus.
• Strong cardiac background and VAD, IABP, and Impella experience.
• Able to round on inpatient/outpatient individuals and troubleshoot devices both inpatient and in clinic.
• Knowledgeable of devices and comfortable with their use.

Pay

Pay range: $2,001.31 - $2,101.38 per week.

Schedule

• Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 (8 hours per day).
• 40 hours per week.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Start date: 08/24/2026.
