About the role
Provides computed tomography (CT) imaging and diagnostic radiologic procedures, ensuring safety, quality, and patient education.
Responsibilities
- Reviews patient history and physician orders
- Educates patients on procedures and safety measures
- Prepares and administers contrast media
- Monitors patient condition during imaging
- Troubleshoots equipment issues
- Positions patients accurately for imaging
- Performs CT imaging procedures
- Analyzes scan results and reports findings
- Ensures compliance with safety standards and quality control
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience in CT or radiologic technology
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- ARRT certification or registry eligibility in CT
- State licensure if required
- BLS certification prior to start date
Skills
- Proficiency in CT imaging techniques and protocols
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Knowledge of safety protocols and quality assurance
- Ability to troubleshoot imaging equipment
