About the Role

Provides advanced radiologic imaging services in the YVMC Radiology Department, specializing in computed tomography (CT), with a focus on direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-level imaging procedures, including CT scans.
• Models proficiency through precepting new staff members.
• Collaborates within a multidisciplinary team to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Promotes safety and quality at the point of care.
• Delivers top-of-scope imaging services.
• Contributes to a secure and high-quality patient environment.
• Supports a team-oriented approach to healthcare.
• May include mentoring and engaging in continuous professional development.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered or registry-eligible in radiography and CT by ARRT.
• State licensure if required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
