Travel CT Technologist - $700 per week

Travel assignment for a CT Technologist in Jetmore, Kansas. Start date ASAP, duration 13 weeks, 40 hours per week, 10-hour day shifts.

About the role

This position is responsible for performing radiographic procedures to produce diagnostic images in the radiology department, as well as in the emergency room and surgery suite using portable techniques. Provides procedural-related patient care and education. Maintains records and documentation for procedures. Identifies and supports patient care needs, including language barriers. Treats patients and families with dignity and respect. Ensures confidentiality of patient records. Interacts professionally with patients and families and provides explanations and verbal reassurance as necessary.

Must be able to work independently and be proficient. Position is subject to sharing in the rotating on-call weeknights and weekend schedule, generally one weekend a month (could be more).

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic and CT procedures to produce diagnostic images
• Operate in radiology department, emergency room, and surgery suite using portable techniques
• Provide patient care and education related to procedures
• Maintain records and documentation for procedures
• Identify and support patient care needs, including addressing language barriers
• Ensure confidentiality of patient records
• Interact professionally with patients and families, providing explanations and reassurance
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule for weeknights and weekends

Requirements

• Graduation from a minimum 2-year Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent
• State of Kansas certification
• Registered with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• One year of radiologic/CT experience (new graduates may be considered)
• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in radiologic technology, radiology, or a related field
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
• Can start with Kansas license pending; must provide proof of license application once position is offered

Certifications & Licenses

• ARRT certification
• Kansas state license (or pending application)

Pay

• Annual salary: $58,240 – $74,880 (based on 40-hour work week)
• Hourly salary: $28 – $36 (negotiable)
• Sign-on bonus: $7,000
